Well
under cover in the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, the "Taverne
du passage" is unchanging. Its original (art deco) setting and
its waiters are there to bear witness to this. The brasserie
menu proposes Belgian and French specialities: shrimp croquettes,
stewed eels in chervil sauce, mussels (in season). The terrace
in the gallery is protected from the weather and the kitchen
is open non-stop from noon till midnight.
The Taverne du Passage has an exceptional wine list and was the first in Belgium to have won the Prize for the Finest Wine List OUTSIDE THE COMPETITION. Photo HERE
